Dear Fellow Artists:

The Keuka Lake Art Association wishes to extend an invitation to exhibit in our 44th Annual Art Show on Saturday, July 9 from 10AM until 5PM, and Sunday, July 10 from 12 noon until 5PM held on the Village Square in Hammondsport, New York.

Our juried show will continue to award ribbons and cash in nine categories:
Drawings and Graphics
Potter (hand-crafted only)
Jewelry (artist’s original only)
Photography
Sculpture
Oils and Acrylics Amateur
Oils and Acrylics Professional
Watercolors Amateur
Watercolors Professional

The Pottery and Jewelry categories are limited to original design and craftsmanship only. All categories should show the artist’s recent and original work.

Since Oils and Acrylics, and Watercolors are judged and awarded in separate professional and amateur categories, please note our criteria for professional status:

1)    Operation of a gallery or studio for the sale of one’s work; or
2)    Sale of one’s work on consignment; or
3)    Election of the artist to be designated a professional

Final interpretation of criteria will be by the Art Show Committee.

We can accept only judicable entries, to be judged Saturday and awarded Sunday. An exhibitor must attend both days to be eligible for any awards.

To encourage new talent, Jeanne Lent Memorial Student Grants will be award to the outstanding high school and college undergraduate exhibitors.

The entrance fee for amateur and professional exhibitors is $40. The entrance fee for students, high school or college undergraduates is $10. A 15percent commission is also due on ALL art show sales, payable at the Bandstand on the day of the sale.

Freestanding exhibits are limited to 10 feet by 10 feet. Special Notice: The Hammondsport Village has restricted the use of tent stakes in the park. Please secure your tents by an alternative method. For those that request, 15 feet of snow fence will be provided. Please, no setups will be allowed prior to 7:00AM Saturday morning.

Please do not park on the street between the Bandstand and the Community Bank. Parking information will be provided when you check in at the Bandstand on Saturday at 9AM. For the comfort and safety of the Art Show patrons, please do NOT bring dogs.

By unanimous request of past artist exhibitors, the show will go on RAIN OR SHINE.

Please return the completed ENTRY FORM and mail with your fees as soon as possible – no later than June 30st PLEASE!
